After a long but patiently-borne period of suffering with consumption, Mr. Ogle Pitcher departed this life on May 8, at the home of his wife’s parents near Diggs. He was a fine Christian character and was often heard to say, “I know my time is short but I am not afraid.” He leaves a wife and baby boy one year old. The remains were taken to Baltimore for interment.
