A strange rumor is at present going around. Its origin is as follows: Mr. John Burke says that Mr. Henry Hunley stated that Sheriff Miller told him that he was informed by Mr. C.E. Diggs, that Mr. B.E. Clements has a hen which laid two eggs in one day. Coming from such good authority its truth cannot be questioned.
For sale: A seven-year-old mare with fine three weeks old mare colt. Perfectly gentle, free puller, works both single and double, not afraid of automobiles. Will sell at a bargain. Apply to F.L .Jordan, Cardinal.
