Morris Stanley Johnson Sr., 83, of Mathews, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Nancy; daughter, Daphne Anderson (Barry) of Akron, Ohio; son, Morris Stanley Johnson Jr. (Leslie) of Cary, North Carolina; grandsons, Marcus Anderson and Maurice Johnson; granddaughter, Jaime Anderson, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at First Baptist Church, Mathews, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the church. Face masks will be required.
