A Celebration of Life service for Morris Edward Owens Jr., 65, of Wicomico, was held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died Oct. 23, 2013.

He was a native of Gloucester County and was a commercial waterman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Sr. and Esther Mae Owens, and a brother, Earl Craig Owens.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Owens Hunsucker; brothers, Carl Reese Owens, Ricky Owens and Ronnie Owens, and three grandchildren.

The service was conducted by the Rev. W. Donald Ambrose. Inurnment was private.
