“Mary Poppins Jr.” will be presented by The Moose Family Players at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, 6565 Moose Drive, Gloucester.
“Practically Perfect in Every Way,” Mary Poppins flies out of the windy London skies and into the home of two mischievous children, said a press release. With the help of a carefree chimney sweep named Bert, the spirited nanny turns every chore into a game and every day into a “Jolly Holiday.”
The music of Mary Poppins is “guaranteed to have you humming ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ on your way home,” said the release.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children and students and may be purchased in advance at Office Supply of Gloucester, Golden Creations of Gloucester Point, and at the door.
All proceeds will benefit Virginia Commonwealth University’s Children’s Cancer Hospital, said the release.
