A model of the upcoming Red Men’s Lodge Condominiums in Mathews Court House is now ready for visitors.
The third floor, 2,200-square-foot residence was developed by Walter Alford of Mathews; he and his wife Bonnie plan to make this space their home.
The Red Men’s Lodge was moved from its original location in 2010 by Alford and his development partners, Harry Corr and Ellis Hall, and placed a short distance away behind Westville Baptist Church.
Alford took charge of the work at that point, extending the original gabled roof on either side of the third-floor ridgepole and constructing a three-story, L-shaped wing at the back to create the present living space.
Fully furnished, the model condominium contains one great room off the entrance foyer; a sun room, a screen porch, pantry, laundry room, two bedrooms and 2½ baths.
