Mathews Land Conservancy recently announced its 2025 slate of officers. Bernadette La Casse will serve as president, with Bernard Moughon as vice president and Rob Riddle as secretary/treasurer.
MLC has also created a Community Advisory Council to be led by Tim Hudgins, a longtime board member and the son of former MLC director Wayne Hudgins.
“I’m excited about my new role as chairperson of the council and see it as a way to further engage the community and accelerate MLC’s mission,” Hudgins said.
Hudgins will lead a group of community leaders who can provide value-driven insights, advice, guidance, and strategic counsel, a release stated. “The direction for MLC continues to honor the commitment our founders made in 1994 to rowing/crew, the completion of the Owens Maritime Building, and to provide public waterway access and use,” Hudgins continued. He brings over 35 years of design, construction and project management experience to the Mathews Land Conservancy’s Advisory Council.
