Miriam Courtney White Daniels, widow of James A. Daniels Jr., died on April 24, 2024, at her summer house in Gloucester Point.

Survivors include two children, Scott Daniels and Susan McNamara; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Newport News, and a graduate of Morrison High School and Riverside School of Nursing.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, Va. 23601.
