Middlesex Resolves topic of Nov. 17 presentation

Are you ready to step back in time and witness a pivotal moment in American history?
Join the Middlesex County Museum and Historical Society at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Urbanna Courthouse, 202 Virginia Street, for a program on the Middlesex Resolves.
Renowned historian Ed Ayres, formerly of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, will take the audience back to 1774, when brave freeholders gathered at that location to stand against taxation without representation.
“Discover how these local resolutions echoed across Virginia, igniting the spark of revolution,” a release stated.
