Michelle “Missy” Marie Walden, age 67, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed on Monday, January 6, 2025, at her residence.

Missy was born on April 29, 1957 in Stuttgart, Germany, the daughter of U.S. Army CW4 Charles and Rosemarie Stoddard. She worked in the medical field as an X-Ray Technician for 20 years and then in Real Estate until her retirement last year. Her passion was serving others, building a community, and making everyone feel at home. Additionally, Missy strived to inspire others to be their authentic self! One of her most memorable accomplishments was completing the Camino Pilgrimage through Portugal and Spain in 2023.

Survivors include her loving husband, Randy Walden; two sons, Kyle Walden (Caitlin) of Arlington, Va., Seth Walden (Shelby) of Bellingham, Wash.; two grandchildren, Rosie and Harvey; her mother, Rosemarie Stoddard of Gloucester, Va.; one sister, Melissa Harris (Alan) of Heathsville, Va.

A Celebration of Life was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 12.

Her cremains were interred on Sunday, January 26 at Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gloucester.
