Michael “Mike” Hubbard of Barhamsville, Va., passed away January 11, 2021. Mike was born Oct. 30, 1953 to the late Thomas and Minnie Hubbard of Gwynn, Va. He was in the construction field for over 50 years.

Mike was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Greg and Keith Hubbard.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Hubbard; a brother, Steve “Bubba” Hubbard (Teresa); a sister, Judy Leverett (Ron); a sister-in-law, Betty Sawyer Hamrick of Newport News; brothers-in-law, Douglas Sawyer (Ann) of Amelia and George Sawyer (Leanne) of Buckingham, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. 23140. A walk-through viewing was held from 1-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 at the funeral home. All necessary precautions for COVID-19, such as wearing a mask and practice social distancing, were observed.
