Michael “Mike” David Wilson Sr., age 59, of Gloucester, died on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Mike was born in Texas on June 11, 1965 to William Frank Wilson and Ingrid Hermine Geyer Wilson. He was one of seven children. Mike was a BP&S forklift operator at Anheuser-Busch for 38 years. Mike was a loving grandfather to all 13 grandchildren. He was always there for his children and was a hard-working provider. He also was an advocate for others at work and made many lifelong friendships. Mike was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Wilson, and son, Tony Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wilson; children, Michael Wilson Jr. (Amber), Greg Shand-Wilson (John), Wayne Wilson, and Dalton Wilson (Melissa); grandchildren, Jessica, Cheyenne, Nolan, Christopher, Grayce, Ella, Tony Angel, Ulysses, Ryleigh, Ava, Natalie, Abigail, and Rose Marie; siblings, Frank, Roberta, Blythe, Brandon, Courtney, and Jared, as well as his mother, Ingrid Wilson, and mother-in- law, Ruth Tilghman. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 12-12:45 p.m., followed by a chapel service conducted by Pastor Wendy Roundy at 1 p.m. The inurnment will be private.
