Michael “Mickey” Harrison Burchell Jr., of Gwynn’s Island, left this life for one with Jesus and no cancer on Aug. 17, 2021.

He is survived by wife Kathy of 26 years; daughter, Monica Hudgins (Davon); stepson, Greg Britt (Jenny); four grandchildren, Deanna and Hayden Hudgins and Todd and Kelly Britt, and a very special cousin, Brenda Morris (Bobby).

He did iron work for many years, worked on the water, then worked on swing bridges. He loved camping with family and helping others.
