Michael Dale Hodges, 53, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at his home.

He was born in Georgetown, S.C., and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a former employee of Quinn Motors in Gloucester and Quinn Chrysler Dodge Jeep in West Point, working in the parts department.

He is survived by his life partner, Harvey C. King Jr.; his mother, Nell D. Barnes of Florence, S.C., and his brothers, Kenneth, Roger, Joseph, and Bobby Hodges.

Funeral services will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the VCU Medical Center Palliative Care Unit.
