A week after their performance at the VHSL state championships, two Mathews High School wrestlers went on to earn bronze medals at a pair of tournaments this past weekend. Senior Alexis Deagle, at left, went 5-1 at the first ever VHSL Girls State Championships and freshman Ivan Schaible, right, went 6-1 at the VAWA 16U State Championships.
