After a long break, the Lady Blue Devils traveled to Middlesex to compete with the Chargers last Thursday.First up were the junior varsity teams. The game started slow for the Blue Devils with the team only scoring three points in the first quarter, with the Chargers scoring seven. The second quarter was much of the same with the Blue Devils only scoring one more point, not being able to keep up with the Chargers. The score was 16-4 at halftime.Coming out of the locker rooms both teams were ready to fight. Mathews fought but failed to catch up, still allowing the Chargers to score. The final score of the game was 29-15, with Middlesex taking the win. The top scorer of the game for Mathews was Adriana Forrest with seven points.
