Plans are underway for the induction of the Mathews High School Hall of Fame Class of 2024, with the ceremony to be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 17, in the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium.
This year’s inductees include coach Steve Griffith, athletes Victor Sakellarios, Keith Whitehead, John Blencowe, Ben Hurst, Doug Sier, Will Holaday, Brent Haywood, Megan Morris Thacker, Ryan Collins, Brooke Moughon Paul, Garrett Fosdyck, Carl “CJ” Kelly, Mac-kenzie Moughon, Cody Kelly and Stuart Anderson Jr., and contributors John Lee Callis and Nelson Morris.
