The Mathews High School girls’ tennis team fell to Middlesex in the May 24 team competition, 5-2. However, the team of Taylor Wood and Brooklyne Fulford was scheduled to play yesterday in the second round of Region 1A doubles competition against the doubles team from Rappahannock.
