The Mathews High School Music Department held its spring concert last Thursday night in the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium, with the school’s Jazz Combo, Orchestra, Jazz and Concert Bands all performing. In photo below the other three photos is Madeline Miller on the trumpet. Miller received the music department’s most coveted honor, the John Philip Sousa Award. The MHS Music Department is led by band, choir and orchestra director Mark Givens.
