The Mathews High School Scholastic Bowl team, coached by MHS teacher John Corrigan, opened its season last Wednesday at home against King William. The two teams played “B” and “A” matches. The Mathews “B” team defeated their Cavalier opponents, 180-110, with the MHS “A” team falling 180-155.
