Rowers from Gloucester, Great Bridge, Norfolk Collegiate, Hickory, Cox, St. Margaret’s School, Granby and First Colonial are expected to come to Williams Wharf Landing on Saturday to take on Mathews in the Blue Devils’ first home regatta of 2011.

A full day of rowing action is planned, with the first heat scheduled for 8:50 a.m. and events continuing until about 1:30 p.m. Parking will be available at the paid lot, which is on Williams Wharf Road about a half mile before the regatta site. The fee is $5 per car. A shuttle bus will run every 10-15 minutes between the two locations.

Breakfast and lunch will be available on site, with profits going to support scholarships, Williams Wharf Landing and its rowing programs.
