MHS Robotics team seeks programmer

The Mathews High School Robotics team is looking for a volunteer proficient in computer programming, according to faculty advisor Larry Brown.

Specifically, Brown said, the team is seeking an adult programmer familiar with C++, Labview or Java in the Gloucester/Mathews area willing to work with the team after school, evenings and on weekends.

The MHS team competes in the FIRST Robotics competition. The local kickoff for the 2011 season will be held on Jan. 8 at Virginia Commonwealth University. For more information about volunteering opportunities, call Brown at 725-3702 (daytime) or 725-5839 (evenings).
