MHS golfers take on Cavaliers

The Mathews High School golf team took on King William on Monday at the Queenfield Golf Club, Manquin. The Devils fell to the Cavaliers, 218 to 180.
Chase Ambrose led Mathews with a 46 followed by Adam Dustin with a 53. “As we near the end of our regular season, I think this match is the one they had the most fun,” said MHS coach Jake Jackson. “We played decent as a team. But I’m just glad these guys are having fun and that’s what makes me happy.”
Mathews travels to West Point for its final regular season match today.
