The Mathews High School golf team has begun its season, falling to King William, 203-217, on Tuesday at Queenfield Golf Course in Manquin. The top golfer for MHS was Ben Stroud, who led the Devils with a score of 48. On Monday, the MHS squad will travel to Quinton Oaks Golf Course to face Rappahannock High School.
