The Mathews High School golf team fell to Lancaster last Wednesday, 168-234, in a match played at the Piankatank River Golf Club. Low scorers for Mathews were Ben Stroud, with a 53, and Chase Ambrose, with a 54. The MHS squad returned to the Hartfield course yesterday to face West Point.
