On Wednesday, March 26, the Mathews High School Music Department will hold its second annual Coffee Shop Jazz event in the school’s cafeteria, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door and include entertainment and coffee, tea, or hot cocoa. Children 12 and under are admitted for $5; children under 5 are free. Baked goods and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Raffle baskets include items from Trader Joe’s, The Bakery at Muddy Acres, and other donations. Entertainment includes sets from the Mathews High School Jazz Band and the Mathews Community Jazz Combo.
