Merry spring approaches once again

Mr. Jefferson Brownley of Laban had the misfortune of bruising his hand very badly a few days ago. We hope, however, no serious results will follow.
Well, winter is past and the merry spring is here again, though it doesn’t seem so, judging from the weather of last week. We hope, however, to see the weather brighten up soon.

The Glebe school was forced to be closed last week on account of diphtheria. It reopened Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. G.S. Marchant are receiving congratulations over the arrival of a fine boy.
Two post office appointments resulting from the examinations, held here some time ago, are those of Mr. W.A. Davis, at Hicks Wharf, and Mrs. R.E. Godsey at Gwynn.
