Cliff A. Louaillier of Gloucester, is the new manager at Meineke Car Care Center, Route 17, Hayes. He manages the five-bay shop, writes service orders and also does some vehicle repairs. He is assisted by two technicians and plans to add a third technician soon.
The local Meineke franchise is owned by Ray Howell of Gloucester, who owns several other Meineke shops in Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.
Louaillier said he and his staff service a wide range of motor vehicles, including foreign and domestic cars, pickups and some larger diesel trucks. They offer preventive maintenance like oil changes, shocks and tires, and provide specialty service like air conditioning repair and tune-ups.
Louaillier has 10 years’ auto repair experience, having worked at shops in Yorktown and West Point.
Previously, he served 24 years in the U.S. Navy, with his highest rank Master Chief. He is originally from California.
