Megan Hope Gandee, 21, of Hayes, was peacefully called to her Heavenly home on May 11, 2012. She was a 2008 graduate of Gloucester High School. She attended Rappahannock Community College and Thomas Nelson Community College where she studied dental hygiene. She was a member of Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Megan was a fun loving young lady with a wonderful personality and a beautiful smile.  She loved life, her family and her many friends. She loved makeup, clothes, jewelry, spending time on the water, and she had a passion for cooking. Her life was an extraordinary gift to all who knew her. She will be missed and always remembered.

Megan is survived by her parents, Stan and Denise Gandee; sisters, Mallory and Madison Gandee; brother Seth Gandee; maternal grandmother, Jean McCullen; paternal grandparents, George and Mary Gandee; nephew, Brayden Creech; and special friend, Timmy Coker.

A Celebration of Life service officiated by Reverend Ray Goude, Jr. was held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Interment will be private. The family received friends prior to the service from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
