Members of Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, took responsibility on Monday for Gloucester County’s Meals on Wheels program, as Bay Aging personnel were off for the Memorial Day holiday. Fifty-eight meals were assembled and delivered to homebound people in the area. Pictured are some of the parishioners and friends of Abingdon who volunteered to help with this ministry. Taking part were, from left, Rebecca Reed, Rick Reed, Renee Welz, Joanne Burruss, Gina Caldwell, Nancy Choquette, Scott Traner, Wendy Every, Debbie Amarescu, Marian Clements and June James. Additional volunteers prepared the food and delivered the meals.
