Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline are coming to Gloucester next month for a special concert.
Well, they’re not exactly Elvis and Patsy, but a pair of tribute artists who will present an evening of entertainment from the songbook of the two music legends in a Saturday, Aug. 12 fundraiser for the Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 Marine Corps League for its Toys for Tots program.
An Evening with Elvis and Patsy will be held from 7-10 that evening at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, 6565 Moose Drive. Tickets are $40.
Michael Hoover, world champion Elvis tribute artist from Stafford, and Denise Glass, a Patsy Cline tribute artist from Jonesville, will perform on stage with the Doug Lester Band.
Concessions (including beer and wine and “Golden Ticket” candy bar sales) will be available, and a 50/50 drawing held.
