Mathews County Historical Society recently held its 2024 annual meeting and dinner. Three new members of the Board of Directors are, above from left, John Hoffman, Roger Emig and Marybeth Almond. Officers elected included president Reed Lawson, vice president Amy Baker, secretary Martha McCartney, and treasurer Hunt Thompson. Other directors are Liz Bateman, Marsha Carlton, Terri Hyman, Tim Morgan and Ray Stubblebine.
