Winners have been announced in the Arts & Crafts competition held as part of Saturday’s May Faire celebration in Mathews Court House.
Cheryl Dale, chair, said the show had a number of entries in 10 categories. It was staged in the Mathews Historical Museum on Main Street.
Best of show winners by category included the following: Mary Lee DeLoatch of Hudgins, quilting, American Legion quilt; Janet Burgess of Mathews, cooking, butterscotch apple cookies; Ruth Morgan of Cardinal, embroidery, set of five Christmas ornaments; Katherine Lawson of North, sewing, apron; Jackie Wilton of Hallieford, knitting and crochet, bib collar; Robert Sherrill of Hudgins, woodworking, Shaker box; Jan Delf of Hallieford, photography, Mt. Hood.
