The Mathews County Wetlands Board will consider three applications for work that will impact wetlands during its meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, in the historic courtroom on Court Street.
Evan Williams of Richmond, has applied for a permit to replace an existing 120-linear-foot groin on the Chesapeake Bay at 259 Buckchase Road; Lawson M. Chenoweth of Chesterfield, has requested a permit to construct a 200-linear-foot sill with beach nourishment along the Queens Creek shoreline at 71 Veteran’s Way, and Dwayne A. Gary of Mechanicsville, is seeking to install and upgrade approximately 61 linear feet of stone revetment along Hills Bay shoreline at 605 Starkwood Lane.
