The Mathews County School Board will hold its legislative tour next Thursday, Nov. 14, starting at Thomas Hunter Middle School. The group will tour Thomas Hunter and Mathews Elementary from 9-9:45 a.m., then take a school bus to Mathews High School.
Those expected to attend include Rep. Rob Wittman’s District Director Joe Schumacher; Senior Legislative Assistant Keith Fisher, who will represent State Sen. Ryan McDougle, and Cole Kawugule, Outreach Representative for U.S. Sen. Mark Warner. Members of the Mathews County Board of Supervisors have also been invited to attend.
