The Mathews High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams finished their regular season undefeated last Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Beaverdam Park. According to coach Andrew Greve, both teams have a record of 23-0 for the season. Mathews competed against West Point, Rappahannock and Essex.
Seth James finished the meet first overall with a time of 17:27. Gavin Dustin finished the meet in third with a time of 18:01, followed by Salvador Cardenas (18:28) in fourth and Jaxon McDonald (18:58) in fifth.
