The Mathews Rotary Club welcomed a new member and awarded a Paul Harris Fellow. In photo at left, club president Mike Pittman, at right, is shown with new Rotarian David Winch. Winch recently moved to Mathews from Pennsylvania and is originally from England. With the addition, the club now has 32 active members. At right, Pittman congratulates new Paul Harris Fellow Jessica Dehoux. Not only do Paul Harris Fellows contribute financially to Rotary, they also volunteer a considerable amount of time and energy to the club to make it a community success. Mathews Rotary’s next fun fundraising event is the Oyster Roast and BBQ Bash on Oct. 12 at Williams Wharf Landing on the East River, Mathews.
