Mathews Republicans to hold spaghetti supper

Allison Larsen, Director of the Institute of the Bill of Rights Law at the William and Mary Law School, and associate dean of the school, will speak at the third annual spaghetti supper, sponsored by the Mathews Republican Committee.The dinner will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins. It is open to the public.
Larsen is a graduate of William and Mary and of the University of Virginia law school, finishing first in her class. She has family members on Gwynn’s Island.
The evening includes a home-style spaghetti dinner, with salad, bread, beverage and homemade desserts. Adult tickets are $20, or two for $35 and children under 12 are $6. A “White Elephant” basket, and other items, will be available for auction.
Tickets are available through Haskins Bayside Service and from Mathews Republican Committee members, or call for reservations, 804-725-5117. The deadline for reservations is Oct. 20.
