The Gwynn’s Island Civic League Foundation will host its first Dine to Donate of 2025 next Thursday, March 6, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Howard-Dooley Café, 9303 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews.
The restaurant will offer dine-in or take-out meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a portion of the day’s sales will go toward scholarships and educational grants for Mathews students.
This marks the third annual event held at Howard-Dooley, said a press release, and foundation members will be on hand to answer any questions.
Restaurant owners Robby and Tracey Sorey have exhibited ongoing support and community involvement, said the release, and they will be joined in this effort by event partners that have pledged donations: Cattails Fine Gifts, New Point Life Services, Oyster Seed Holdings LLC, and Stewart’s Tile and Carpet Center.
