Mathews High School Homecoming

Mathews High School held its homecoming parade Friday afternoon, beginning at Thomas Hunter Middle School and traveling through the Court House area to Mathews High School. Shown here from top photo down, the MHS junior class float portrayed a “Toy Story” theme with Grayson Griffith dressed as Jessie; members of the THMS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America group marches in the parade; this year’s grand marshal was Charlie Koenig, editor of the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal; and MHS Vice Principal LeeAnne Bray and Principal Dr. Drew Greve lead this year’s homecoming court to the field for the crowning on Friday evening.
