The last regular season Mathews Farmers’ Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday on the court green.
The Mathews Farmers’ Market is finishing its 31st season, and the vendors want to thank the community for its continuous, enthusiastic support, said a press release.
“They enjoy seeing their customers each week and providing them with fresh, local-grown produce, meats and eggs, and delicious baked goods,” said the release, “and sharing their talents in making jewelry, wood carvings, woolens, wreaths and flower arrangements as well as nursery and greenhouse plants.”
Two more markets
There will also be two more special markets this year. The first is the third annual Harvest Market, to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, in time to get local meat and produce, along with floral arrangements for Thanksgiving table decorations.
