Mathews author pens ‘Why We Need Jesus’

David Anthony of Gwynn has written a book, “Why We Need Jesus,” which confronts the problem of human existence and offers Jesus Christ as the answer to the identity we desire in order to provide meaning and purpose to life, a release stated.
The book goes deep into Biblical scripture to make the case for Jesus, according to the release.
“Jesus is the High Priest of our faith, and we are His priesthood of all believers chosen to minister in His name and to His glory to a lost and suffering world,” Anthony said.
“In the movie ‘Hacksaw Ridge,’ Desmond Doss saved one battle casualty at a time. In ‘Why We Need Jesus,’ readers learn how Jesus came to save one spiritual casualty at a time,” he said. “If you want spiritual meditation and contemplation, then this book is for you.”
