Mary Lynn Brisendine, age 32, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Mary was born on November 20, 1991. She worked at Smith’s Florist designing floral arrangements and doing deliveries where she got to work with her favorite flower, sunflowers. Like a sunflower, she had a personality that could brighten up anyone’s day. She had many friends that she grew up with in Gloucester who love and will miss her as well as many beloved friends from Shelby, N.C. Mary is survived by her daughter, Peyton Brisendine; her mother, Janice Brisendine; her father, Billy Brisendine; her sister, Jessica Brisendine; niece, Hailey Jo Ward, and nephew, Taylor Brisendine. She is also survived by her significant other, Charles Nathan Batts, and best friend, Elizabeth Keefer.
