Marvin Edward “Bubby” Booth III, 22, of Copperas Cove, Texas, died suddenly on July 25, 2014.
He was born Oct. 21, 1991, in Newport News, Va. He resided in Gloucester until he was 14 when his family moved to Texas.
Bubby graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 2011, home of the Bulldawgs.
He was preceded in death by his “MeMe,” Barbara Young Booth of Bohannon, Va.
Those surviving left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Eads Booth of Gloucester; his father, Marvin E. Booth Jr. and his wife of Killeen, Texas; his sister, Kacy Skidmore and her husband Nicholas of Gloucester; his brother, Thomas Booth of Killeen, Texas; one nephew, Jase Skidmore of Gloucester; his grandparents, Glen and Frances Eads of Gloucester and Marvin E. Booth Sr. of Bohannon. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Beulah Baptist Church, 5490 Ware Neck Road, at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13. Pastor Tom Cohick will officiate. Wear green as this was Bubby’s favorite color.
