Martha Jean Young, 82, died on April 29, 2024.

She had been a resident of Gloucester, Va., after 11 worldwide residences.

She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church of Eufaula, Ala.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James V. Young; two children, Timothy M. Young and Gwendolyn A. Frederick; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at Glover Funeral Home, Eufaula, and burial will be at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Alabama.
