Douglas Marshall of Moon, and Wendy Calder of Gloucester Point, were the top finishers in Saturday’s Guinea Jubilee 5K Shad Run. Marshall ran the course in 16:44, while Calder was the first female to cross the finish line, posting a time of 28:49.
Winners for the men included: Ages 10 and under—Evan Seely (29:58); ages 11-15—Logan Monnoyer (27:11); Ages 36-42—Aaron West (27:18); ages 43-49—Don Calder (first, 26:09) and Charles West (second, 26:37); ages 50-56—Eldridge Northstein (first, 19:50) and Wes Ripley (second, 24:03); ages 57-63—William Lee West (first, 36:30) and George Seely (second, 39:50); and, ages 64 and over—Danny Driscoll (23:52).
