The annual Mathews Market Days Poster signing event will be begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bay School Community Arts Center. 
Instead of a contest for this year’s poster, the Mathews Market Days Committee asked P. Buckley Moss to create its 45th year poster as a companion to her Year 35 poster and she graciously agreed, according to Dee Russell, vice chair of the MMD committee.
She said Moss was given the theme of “Seasons of Mathews” and has created gentle nods to the four seasons the county experiences. 
According to Russell, Moss will sign a limited number of prints at the Bay School on Saturday. Posters will be sold at the time of the signing for $35 each and will not be available for purchase again until Sept. 6, which is the first day of this year’s Market Days festival. They will then be for sale for $40 each.
All net proceeds from the sales of posters each year go back into the community in the form of grants.
