Marjorie Marie Stallsmith, 89, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was born in LaPorte, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Albert Loring and Ruth E. Will and the widow of her loving husband of 65 years, William A. Stallsmith.
Marjorie was an active member of Petsworth Baptist Church and was a faithful supporter of the Operation Christmas Child ministry.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Stallsmith (Teresa), Wade Stallsmith (Julie), and loving daughter, Susan Symonds (Richard); grandchildren, Jeannette Symonds, Andrea Senter (Matt), Michael Symonds (Amanda), David Stallsmith (Emily), Nicholas Stallsmith (Lauren), Kara Redmond, and 12 great- grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Commonwealth Senior Living—Gloucester House for the loving and compassionate care she received from the staff for the past 18 months.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at Petsworth Baptist Church on April 14 from 1-2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2 o’clock.
Burial will be at Rose Dhu Cemetery, Vidette, Georgia, at a later date.
