Miss Marguerite Gladys Page, age 96, beloved daughter of Monroe and Ruth, passed away quietly in her Gloucester home on Jan. 5, 2012.

Miss Page was determinedly independent, yet forever grateful for those who helped her. She was always a lady. She met every solicitous inquiry with the words, "I’m getting along fine, with the help of the Lord." Her quick wit and intellect served her many years on this earth. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

The funeral will be held at the First Baptist Church on Route 17 in Ordinary, on Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. Please join family and friends at a memorial gathering at the church after the service.
