Margie Ruth Ambrose, 86, of Hayes, died on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023.

She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors two children, Del Stokes and Rhonda Pappas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Carla Stanley, Tammie Spivey, and Tal Ambrose; five step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patsy Jenkins

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert E. Stokes Sr. and Donald Ambrose; her parents, Julius and Dolly Dean; seven siblings, and her son, Bobby.

The family will be receiving friends and guests at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Hogg Funeral Home, Hayes. A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Nathan Varnadore at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Providence Baptist Church, Hayes, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
